Vylit (Virtuous Young Ladies In Training), Inc. fosters positive self-esteem in girls between the ages of 8-18. We focus on inward and outward beauty for the Spirit, Soul, and Body. We provide positive alternatives to the numerous negative messages in our culture. Because we want to be relatable to various ages, Vylit is divided into three groups; sparklz, starz, and glitz.
Our Vision:
"We help young women live healthier and more fulfilled lives by providing the tools needed to help them succeed in every area of their lives: Inward and Outward Beauty for the Spirit, Soul, and Body.
*Inner beauty manifested in outward self respect is an important quality that many young women today cannot seem to grasp. By teaching young women to let their inward light shine so that when people see them, they see God, we are assuring that we will have a new generation of godly women committed to expanding the Kingdom of God.
We are in the process of expanding the vision of Vylit, and also publishing an online magazine that is expected to go worldwide in Spring 2012
Our Goals and Objectives:
•To inspire and encourage young women to fulfill their dreams
•To foster young womens intelligence and beauty
•To address social issues facing young women
•To teach young women to have respect for themselves
•To promote close-knit relationships among their peers
Our History:
Vylit, based out of Los Angeles, California, was founded in 2007 by Dustin and Kayla Divelbiss, after seeing the need among the young ladies in the community to improve their self esteem and decision making skills. The Vylit mentoring groups meet once a month to reinforce positive behavior but to also have fun through learning about etiquette, style, and skin care. Since beginning Vylit, Inc., many young ladies lives have positively impacted. By learning to respect their unique personalities, intelligence, and talents, we have seen many outward manifestations of improved self-worth. Some of these outward proofs are: improved communication with peers and elders, giving more thought to decisions and the possible consequences of actions, and dressing with more respect and style.
The success Vylit has experienced in the community has inspired the founders to expand the program beyond the local community and through the online magazine database.
Dustin graduated from Lousiana Tech University in 2008 with a BA in Speech-Language Pathology. Since then, she has been involved in working full-time in the ministry, acting, teaching Zumba and personal training. Dustin is a strong motivator and loves encouraging people, especially young women, to achieve their goals and dreams. Dustin enjoys hosting and directing successful pageants alongside her sister, Kayla. Recently, Dustin moved from Louisiana to California to further pursue her acting career.
Kayla graduated in February 2011 from International Academy of Design with a BA in Fashion Merchandising. She has a passion for dancing; and in 2009, she turned that passion into a career by opening her own dance studio. Through fashion, dancing, and zumba, Kayla has encourage and inspired the younger generation of girls. Recently, she competed in the Miss Louisiana pageant and moved from Louisiana to California to pursue her career in the fashion industry.
Vylit, Inc. helps girls see themselves the way God sees them; beautiful from the inside and out.

Life Skills You Just Can't Learn On Your Own 12.16.2010
Throughout the years that I have attended my local Vylit Chapter, I have learned and grown so much as a person. The first meeting that I attended was over 4 years ago when I was only 12 and I had no idea the changes that I would take place. Being involved in this orginzation has taught me to show myself as a beautiful young lady inside, as well as my outward appearance! I feel as though I am now fully prepared to conquer my destany!

I just wanted to let Dustin & Kayla know that we had our 1st VYLIT Sparklz meeting yesterday... It was awesome! I am SO thankful that you girls asked me to help with this ministry. I have always had girls on my heart. We had 6 precious girls that wanted to know if we could meet again next Saturday - lol. Allie & Sonia were wonderful & I know that it's just going to get bigger & bigger & better & better. You girls are planting MAJOR seed through this curriculum. It is truly God-inspired. We love you both & we will continue to pray for doors of opportunity for each of you:) I can't wait to see the next lesson:))))"

OUR MISSION:
This is the stage of a girl's life when she is starting to become a young lady a new sprout. We want to catch her at the time of this opening stage and impart the truth of God in her. It is a gradual process of unfolding for her, a time when she learns who she is in Christ and we teach her to see herself, not as the world sees her, but as God does. This is when we spark the girl factor in her and teach her how important it is to be a woman of God.
This is a time in a young girl's life where she is starting to figure out her own style, her own niche, showing the colorful parts of her personality. We want to encourage her to produce, to grow, and to flourish in her unique style so that the light of God can be seen in every area of her life. As she peaks in her own activities and interests, we want her life to be celebrated, to be prominent, and to be distinguished as she continues her relationship with God.
This is the stage of a girl’s life where she is preparing to graduate/attend college/leave home. She has gone through the process and stages of Vylit, Inc., and has taken the principals that are taught and applied them to her own life – maximum development; proven that she is in a promising stage where she can unfold and thrive in her God-given gifts and talents. The Glitz girls will continue to learn in areas that will help them thrive and succeed on their own, but they will also increase in their gifts through serving in the Sparklz and Starz age groups. It is their time to prosper and shine to their fullest potential, being the strong young women that God has called them to be.
Vylit Inc. is expanding globally, and we are presenting the opportunity for churches and organizations to become a member by starting a Vylit Chapter in their area or region.
